Consumer Contract Regulations:

As an expert trader, tight regulations state you the customer may have 14 calendar days from the day the notice is sent from entering into a service contract (estimate/quotation. In which you can cancel (standard cancellation notice). The customer can choose to cancel the contract and have any deposits returned, except exemptions. If you wish to cancel the contract you must do so in writing and deliver personally. Furthermore, or send this to the person/s named below within 14 days by post or email.

The trader shouldn’t start providing the service before the 14 day cancellation period has ended, unless you have requested this (which may be by electronic mail, post or phone). As part of these regulations, any sum paid by or on behalf of the customer as part of the contract will be repayable in full. Except where these regulations provide otherwise.

If you request a service that starts straightaway– In this instance you will still have the right to cancel. However, you must pay for the value of the service that is provided up to the point you cancel.

If the service is provided in full within 14 days– The right to cancel can be lost during the cancellation period if the service is provided in full, before the 14 days elapses.

Exemptions- Where you won’t have a right to cancel a service. For example, after 14 days of excepting a quotation (unless agreed in writing by Adrian Mitchell). Hotel bookings, flights, car/equipment hire, concerts and other event tickets are paid/ordered, or where the trader is carrying out urgent repairs. In addition, spot cleaning or maintenance. However if a quotation is sent and you confirm by means of all and including any modern/old manmade communication/s to agree, then you the customer are not bound by the regulations particular.

Storage- All Items that are being cleaned, repaired or restored in our workshop/unit must be collected from yourself/someone on your behalf within a two week time frame from the date of notice of completion of works. Any item/s that are delayed to be collected from our workshop/unit (without written confirmation from Adrian Mitchell) can be charged upto 25% of the value of the sub-total works being undertaken from ourselves, per day for a seven day week rolling, until the date you/or someone on your behalf collects your item/s. This maybe invoiced directly or indirectly to your final outstanding invoice.

Any item/s not collected by you or someone representing you/your company within sixty days from the date of notice of completion of works. The item/s maybe discarded, disposed of as waste and will not be held the responsibility of Sheen Cleaning Services LTD. This maybe invoiced directly or indirectly to your final outstanding invoice.

Payment Agreement Terms-

A Deposit (sum you wil be notified of) secures booking dates/times only, if these are not paid on the invoice date, scheduled works may be offered to another paying customer. Any Remaining Moneys, Sum/s of Payment are to be paid on the day of the completion of works only. – Accepted BACS transfer/ cheques.

Any Remaining Payment/s, Sum/s, Moneys outstanding to Sheen Cleaning Services LTD on completion of works are to be paid in full (from yourtself) on the date of final invoice only (date of completeion of works). For any payment/s, sum/s, moneys owed that requires up to 30 days after invoice date to be paid in full, requires a passed application of credit prior, your credit limit fully accessed and agreed in writting before any works are to be undertaken (excluding deposits). Which may come with an additional cost to credit check, setup your application. Up to 25% of the sub total due amount may be applied as an administration fee with delayed payments outside these terms.
