Is sanitising going to help as a Disinfection Service against Covid19 (Coronavirus)…
Training, knowledge and attention to detail are all very critical throughout a Covid19 infectious virus decontamination procedure. It’s a meticulous task carried out, to thoroughly sanitise against infectious diseases. Even a sterile environment for a susceptible person, needs to be done correctly.
For instance, cross contamination could lead to an illness or even a fatality. Please don’t fall for sales gimmicks (from overnight pop-up sanitising companies!) that have just emerged because of the money making capabilities from the Covid19 pandemic. Do your research, and feel comfortable that they are a legitimate infectious virus cleaning company in Gloucestershire.

An Infection control specialist, is always a safer option. Especially for a lasting clinical standard. That could be, either sanitising against Zoonatonic pathogens (which are spread by animals), H1N1 (Swine Flu), Norovirus, SARS-COV-2 (Covid19 disease) or even the prevention of infection from C. Diff.
Environmental cleaning is a difficult task, because you can’t really see what your trying to decontaminate!
Before any infectious virus mitigation of a premises, ATP testing (swab testing) is carried out on various areas/surfaces. Also, after on these same areas/surfaces too. This is a similar process in crime scene cleaning. It enables us to track the level of cleanliness, in our methodology to a clinically clean environment.
Touch Point Surfaces : All areas of contact like door handles, keyboard’s, hand rails, cubicles, hard floors, are thoroughly cleaned using anti-microbial disinfectants. These are proven to kill 99.99% of viruses and bacteria. With a log kill varying between 5-6 (5logkill-6logkill).
ULV fogging : The whole entire working/air space area is fogged with fine particles. Sanitising at a droplet size of between 5-8 microns. Any electrical goods are pre-covered to prevent damage, and post cleaned with low moisture techniques by hand.
24 hour action : Once full mitigation of the working area has been performed, Anti Microbials leave a residue on all surfaces it’s come into contact with. This residue has a 24hr action, to help prevent further cross contamination from germs and viruses.
What is ULV Fogging and why is it required in the infection control decontamination process?
Sanitising fogging equipment is used predominately for the application of disinfectants, biocides, fungicides and pesticides. Our foggers generate a fog or mist formed of Ultra Low Volume (ULV). Droplets between 5-50 microns (μm) in diameter.
Studies have shown that droplets of this size are ideal to tackle pathogens, vector carriers and pests. In addition formulations can be applied in concentrations of 10-90% and at flow rates of up to 0.5 litres per minute (30 litres per hour). Making them more efficient in the Volume Median Diameter (VMD) spectrum.
Our Products are the 2010 winners of the Smart Solutions HCAI (Health Care Associated Infections) for infection control
