What is an unblemished look on floor tiles?

An unblemished look may differ, from how another can imagine a finish to look.

In my opinion, an unblemished look is smooth and has a feeling of warmth. It looks amazing and usually (but not in all cases) has a sheen or reflective finish. Just like the clarity in polished marble. For instance, when you see that mirror like elegance that makes you smile.

 

Can a matt finish tile have an unblemished look? 

For sure! This is what I love so much about tiled surfaces. It’s not just how it looks, its how it makes you feel.

 

There is so much to choose, design or even experiment with. Whether your are looking for elegance, contemporary or even an industrial feel. Everything contains its very own beauty. To which, I have found to fall in love with and appreciate on every floor restoration project!  

 

What about a rustic, worn finish

When it comes to a rustic worn finish, although it can look absolutely fantastic. It’s not what I would call an unblemished look, or even feel.

 

Mainly with calcium based stones, for example limestone and travertine. You will see a lot of fossils. 

 

Rustic and worn comes with it’s very own bold and big statements. Especially when used as a design element in buildings. From restaurants, hotels and even some really amazing residential homes. Some really great results, have been proudly achieved.
